Online Therapy For College Students In California
Mental Health Services To Help Students Navigate Life During College
Feeling overwhelmed? You’re not the only one!
College can be fun, exciting, and deeply challenging at the same time. You’re balancing classes, new friendships, dating, work, and figuring out who you want to be ... all at once. It’s a lot, and many students feel anxious, stuck, or like they’re secretly falling apart.
If that sounds like you, if you’re feeling burnt out, lost, or like you just need somewhere to let it all out, therapy can really help. I specialize in online therapy for college students in California – a space where you can show up exactly as you are – no pressure, no pretending.
WHERE I CAN HELP
Therapy To Help You Navigate The Reality Of College Life
You thought you'd spend your college years living your best life and instead you somehow find yourself tired and stressed ALL the time? Maybe you went into college thinking it would be your chance to finally put yourself out there but you feel like you’re drowning in school work, struggling to connect, and way off balance in your day to day.
And let’s be real, you’re probably also stuck in an endless cycle of doom scrolling, spiraling about your future, and wondering why everyone else seems to have it together while you’re just struggling to survive
College is hard. I want to be here to help you move through the struggles and create a college life that’s everything you want it to be. Here are some of the common challenges I can help college students address:
Social anxiety, difficulty making friends, loneliness, or social isolation
Performance and exam anxiety
Academic burnout, stress, & expectations
Depression, numbness, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others
OCD symptoms getting in your way
Coping with disordered eating, body image or compulsive exercise habits
Crippling perfectionism (often hiding as “high achievement”)
Homesickness and struggling to transition to your new environment
Feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about your future
People-pleasing and the fear of letting others down
Grappling with a new and shifting sense of identity
THE BENEFITS OF THERAPY

HOW I WORK
Authentic & Effective Evidence-Based Therapy For College Students
My therapy style is warm, collaborative and down-to-earth. I’m not here to lecture or fix you. I’m here to listen, support and help you make sense of what’s going on in your life. Together, we’ll explore your story, identify unhelpful patterns, and use strategies that actually help you to feel better.
In my work, I draw from a variety of different therapy modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). That being said, each person is unique and we will tailor therapy to fit your unique needs.
This is a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to show up – and we’ll take it from there.

“Meghan is a very supportive therapist. She has a knack for seeing her clients through complex situations with empathy and attuned guidance. While working beside her as a colleague I noticed how her experience treating eating disorders and body image challenges translated to creative, strength-based interventions that helped clients see themselves and their struggles with greater compassion.”

A NOTE FOR PARENTS
What You Can Expect From Therapy
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’re already juggling a million things. Here’s what the process looks like so you know exactly what to expect:
1. Start with a free intro call
We’ll kick things off with a short consultation to talk about what’s going on and see if we’re a good fit. No pressure or commitment, just a chance to connect, ask questions and get a feel for things.
2. Let’s meet you where you are at
In our first sessions, we’ll explore what you’ve been going through and get clear on what you want from therapy. All sessions are held online. You can join from anywhere you have privacy & a stable internet connection.
3. Grow at your own pace
From there, we’ll work on building helpful tools, insight, and self-trust. Whether it’s managing stress, setting boundaries, or quieting your inner critic, therapy is here to support you, now and in the long run.
